미국 HBO에서 2011년 4월부터 시작된 드라마 입니다.

The drama started in April 2011 at the US HBO.

몇일전에 6시즌이 마무리 되었는데요,

A few days ago, six seasons were over,

한 시즌당 10편 정도의 분량으로 2016년 현재까지 꾸준히 진행되고 있는 드라마 입니다.

It is a drama that has been going on so far in 2016 with about 10 episodes per season.

 

원작소설은 조지 R.R. 마틴의 '얼음과 불의 노래'시리즈 입니다.

The original novel is George R.R. Martin's song of ice and fire.

시리즈 순서는 다음과 같습니다.

원작소설은 2016년 현재 5부 드래곤과의 춤까지 발간되었는데

The original story was published in 2016 as well as the dance with the fifth dragon.

드라마가 소설을 앞지른 상태라고 합니다.

It is said that the drama is ahead of the novel.

드라마가 워낙 스케일도 방대하고 등장인물들도 많아서

1편부터 찬찬히 보시지 않음 나중에 내용이 매우 헛갈릴 수 있습니다.

If you don't focus on the first episode, the content can be very confusing later.

하지만, 인기가 많은 드라마라 여기저기서 드라마 회차에 대한 내용정리나 정보는

어렵지 않게 찾아볼 수 있기도 하죠.

저도 시즌6이 진행되는 동안 리뷰를 시작해 보았는데,

스스로도 헛갈리는 내용들이 조금 정리되는 느낌이 들었습니다.

Confusing content has been cleaned up a bit.

 

시즌7은 아마도 내년(2017년) 봄에나 시작을 할 터이니

Season 7 will probably start next spring (2017).

그동안 천천히 시즌 1편부터 다시 감상하며 다시 리뷰를 해 볼 계획입니다.In the meantime, I will slowly review the first episode and review it again.

 

 

원작소설은 드라마가 많이 뜨기전에는 발번역이 많다는 얘기를 들어서 좀 망설였었는데,

출간 20주년 기념으로 올해부터 순차적으로 개정판이 나온다고 합니다.

In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the publication, revisions will be released sequentially this year.

앞으로는 해리포터 시리즈처럼 책으로 즐기시는 분들도 더 많아지리라는 생각이 드네요.
